This exquisite late 19th-century French Ormolu and Porcelain Mounted Mantel Clock, crafted in bronze ormolu, features a case elegantly adorned with a hunting scene above an enamel dial. It incorporates a twin-barrel movement with Brocot suspension and a strike mechanism that chimes on a bell. The circular case is embellished with a dog surrounded by dead game.
This attractive 19th-century French porcelain and ormolu mantel clock features a brass drum, two-train movement, inset with Sèvres-style pink porcelain foliate panels and a Roman numeral porcelain dial. The clock measures 12.5" in height and includes a pendulum and key, with the movement in full working order.
The clock is in overall very good condition and operating correctly. The sight ring surrounding the dial has been replaced at some point in the past.
