Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1948 with the makers mark being that of J R Gaunt & Son.

 In good order but not perfect,very light nibble on the enamel just after the K of York, this only affects the top surface and does not go through to the silver below  and the post that carries the catch is a replacement 

Measures 25mm across.
