The alloy to mercury ratio varies between 1/0.85 and 1/0.94 depending on the size and setting time, i.e. 45.9% to 48.5% by weight mercury. The compressive strength of GS-80 at 24 hours is 510 MPa, and the dimensional change during hardening is +0.02%.
