MOTO LITA Steering Wheel - Genuine Original Moto Lita Leather Steering Wheel 13” - Used Condition.
A genuine and original example of its type.
CONDITION
The leather rim is in used condition.
There are some small surface marks/scratches/scuffs here and there commensurate with a used leather steering wheel. The leather has split in one area. Rather surprisingly the leather remains strong and doesn’t feel like it’s about to fail anytime soon. There’s some loose stitching the rear of the wheel, this could easily be repaired with a needle and thread, this is easy to resolve. I have taken care to focus on these faults in the photos so please look closely.
The metal spokes/frame is much the same, there’s some very very fine surface marks/scratches which again I have taken care to include in the photos. The alluminiun would certainly benefit from a thorough clean, some polishing compound and a little effort.
The photos are a good representation of the overall condition of both the leather rim and the metal frame.
Overall condition wise and out of 10 I’d put it at a 4 but you decide. It’s not perfect but it’s not horrendous either. It’s definitely suitable for an everyday classic. It’s very acceptable and very useable whilst needing some work. It’s priced accordingly.
