Antique French Wooden Grain Measure with Forged Iron Ring, Second Half 19th Century

Description

Authentique mesure à grain française datant de la seconde moitié du XIXᵉ siècle. Réalisée en bois cintré et renforcée par des cerclages en fer forgé rivetés, elle est munie d'un unique anneau en fer forgé fixé sur le côté.

Autrefois utilisée pour mesurer les céréales et autres denrées sèches, cette mesure témoigne du savoir-faire traditionnel des artisans ruraux français.
