Description
Authentique giberne de Gendarmerie française datant de la fin du XIXᵉ siècle et du début du XXᵉ siècle, estimée entre 1870 et 1914. Réalisée en cuir noir avec rabat mouluré, elle est ornée sur sa face avant de l'emblématique grenade en laiton, insigne traditionnel de la Gendarmerie française.
L'intérieur conserve ses compartiments d'origine destinés au transport des cartouches ou de l'équipement. L'ensemble présente une belle qualité de fabrication ainsi qu'une patine ancienne du cuir et du laiton, recherchée par les collectionneurs de militaria et d'objets historiques français.
Fabrication française, vraisemblablement destinée au service de la Gendarmerie.

Bon état général d'ancienneté.
