Antique 1847 funeral invitation for Mrs. Rosanna Haines. The document features a decorative letterpress printed border depicting a tree, often seen in 19th c American funeral ephemera.
Printed on thin, soft paper with 'rough' edges. I believe this is referred to as rag paper, made from linen or cotton textiles. It is durable but lightweight.
This rare memorial piece measures approximately 5.5" X 3.75".
