this late 40s early 50s penneys jacket is very well worn. The collar is ripped up the back of the right arm needs to be redone both cuffs are frying a lot. There is staining and miss color and fading around the jacket. The liner has distress especially under the shoulders but there are cold threads inside to some degree.

Spring loaded crown zipper front

exterior fabric feels like a hardy nylon or cotton blend there is some shiny Sheen to it. The quilted liner is acetate. There were elastic waist strips built-in on the sides with those have since stretched out and died see pictures for details

fits boxy at 22 inch pit to pit with a 22 inch length 18 inch shoulder and 22 1/2 inch sleeves

Current condition of this jacket is heavily distressed. It is very much wearable and the zipper works well. Some repair and proper laundering would make it far nicer
