A bright summer diver.

This is the Breitling Superocean Automatic 42, ref. A17366D81A1A1. White dial, blue bezel, steel case, steel bracelet. A proper dive watch, but not one of those black-on-black bricks that looks like it was designed in a submarine with the lights off. A GREAT summer watch.

At 42mm, it has real wrist presence without turning into a dinner plate. The white dial keeps it clean, the blue bezel gives it enough color to matter, and the 500m water resistance is hilarious overkill for most of us. It also knocks out the other divers in its class.  Which, naturally, is part of the appeal.

This example is in very good condition as shown, comes as a full set with box and papers, and was serviced by Breitling in 2022.
