  Bench-tested and runs smoothly forward on the track. Powerful little workhorse for its size. Note: Rear coupler/connector on the engine (that connects to the tender) is broken off. Tender is included.

• Lionel #4860 Transformer

Test Notes (Important):Engine (#8902) and Transformer (#4860) were fully bench tested together on a test track. The locomotive runs smoothly and the transformer delivers consistent power. All other items are untested.
Condition:
Gently used with typical play wear for 40+ year old toys (scratches, minor paint loss). Everything is complete except the noted broken coupler and non-working gate. Please zoom in on all photos — they are part of the description. 
This is a fantastic value for a ready-to-run engine + working transformer bundle. Add a few more cars and some track and you’ll have a complete operating layout!
