Original lot of ten (10) Kodachrome 35mm color transparency slides photographed at Deoksugung (Duk Soo) Palace, Seoul, South Korea, circa 1961.

The handwritten mounts identify the location as "Duk Soo Palace" (historic spelling of Deoksugung). Images include:

• Palace gates and entrances
• Main throne hall and palace buildings
• Courtyards and ceremonial walkways
• Gardens and landscaped grounds
• Fountain and government buildings nearby
• Informational sign describing the palace's history
• Visitors touring the palace grounds, including a portrait of a woman identified on the mount as "Maria Kim"

These photographs document Deoksugung during the early post-war period, providing an excellent visual record of one of Seoul's Five Grand Palaces just a decade after the Korean War. The slides capture both traditional Korean architecture and everyday tourism in South Korea during the early 1960s.
