Pair Antique Silver Sauce Boats, John Pollock, London 1742
A pair of large heavy English antique sterling silver sauce boats by John Pollock, hallmarked from London in 1742.
They have a family crest on each which is a little faded and we have not researched this.
In super clean order and are free of any dents, there is however a small old repair on one handle where it joins the body and between them there are 5 or 6 small hairlines on the edge seems, however only at the top. Hallmarks are faded in places but enough information left to make out the date letter and maker.
155mm in length and stand 118mm tall at the highest point.
