Really Neat piece of Dan Leghorn Engine Co. history!
This pieces is a ceramic Fire Hydrant shaped mug with a removable lid, and was made to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the fire department (1935-1985).
The piece is accented with gold on the nuts, and has the name "Fred Hall" in gilt on the reverse side.
The underside is marked "55" in gold as well.
Measures approx. 6-1/2" Tall x 4-1/4" Diameter at the base.
Condition:
Excellent overall condition. Mug shows some light scratching on the exterior for years of display, with very little loss to original artwork and paint accents.
Interior is clean and shows no sign of use.
There is a small chip on the underside.
Overall displays great!
