This wonderful antique Toddler ride-on toy was most likely manufactured by the H.C. White Company of North Bennington, Vermont, around the late 1910's to 1920's. It is built with a solid wood contour seat, a T-bar steering handlebar, and three distinct painted wooden wheels. The original Kiddie-Kar was invented by Clarence W. White and patented between 1916 and 1918. It became an incredibly successful commercial toy. This one retains its original dark finish and iconic red-painted wooden wheels. This piece is in very good antique condition, but one wheel has been glued and touched up with red paint Otherwise it is in great condition, and the parts seem to be original to the piece. It measures 20 1/2 inches in length, 9 inches wide and 13 1/2 inches tall.
