Joined No.605 Squadron during World War Two. During the Battle of Britain he destroyed at least 6 enemy aircraft. In late 1941 the Squadron moved to the Far East and he destroyed at least 8 Japanese aircraft whilst based at Singapore, Sumatra and Java. In February 1943 he was captured by the Japanese and released in September 1945

Squadron Leader M.B. (Hoof) Proudfoot
Joined the Royal Air Force in 1958 and started flying in 1962 at Leeming on Jet Provosts. At Swinderby he flew Vampires and instructed at Church Fenton for 3 years on Jet Provosts. After conversion to Hunters he flew with No.20 Squadron in Singapore for 3 years and in 1970 converted to Harriers.

Flight Lieutenant Peter Bouch
Joined the Royal Air Force in 1954 and trained at the RAF College, Cranwell and RAF Middleton St. George, flying Chipmunk, Piston Provosts, Balliol and Vampire aircraft. His full details are shown on the information card included
