This is a high quality Nanotyrannus tooth that was found in Carter county, Hell Creek Montana.

It measures in at 1.3 inches and has some killer serrations.

All natural, no repair or restoration.

Following landmark fossil discoveries and microscopic bone analysis, paleontologists have confirmed that Nanotyrannus is a distinct species. It was a smaller, swifter predator rather than a teenage Tyrannosaurus rex.

For over four decades, scientists debated whether the smaller fossils were T. rex juveniles or a completely separate dinosaur.

Researchers analyzed the "growth rings" in the bones of the nearly complete "Dueling Dinosaurs" fossil and its microscopic throat bones. They proved the animal was already a fully grown adult—too small and biologically different to ever grow into a T. rex.
