Il disco è stato acquistato a novembre 2017 ed è stato utilizzato continuativamente all'interno del mio NAS QNAP domestico. È sempre stato tenuto in un ambiente fresco, ben ventilato e protetto da sbalzi di tensione grazie a un gruppo di continuità (UPS).
Nonostante gli anni di servizio, il disco è meccanicamente ed elettronicamente perfetto. 

Come potete vedere dagli screenshot reali allegati, estratti direttamente dal sistema di diagnostica del NAS QNAP prima della formattazione:
•Stato di salute complessivo: "Buono" (100% funzionante).
•Settori danneggiati o pendenti: ZERO. I parametri critici SMART (Current_Pending_Sector, Uncorrectable_Sector_Count e Reported_Uncorrectable_Error) sono tutti a 0.
•Cicli di accensione bassissimi (Power_Cycle_Count), segno che il disco ha lavorato in modo lineare e stabile senza lo stress di continui avvii/spegnimenti.

Il disco viene consegnato già formattato, ulteriormente testato e pronto all'uso. Trattandosi di un acquisto del 2017, l'oggetto viene venduto come fuori garanzia, ma i test SMART ne certificano l'assoluta affidabilità attuale.
