Relisting due to a complete time waster, if you have no intention of collecting or paying for the car, please do not bid!! I don’t understand why people do this? It costs to list and then relist.

Here for auction is my 2004 S Type R Jaguar for spares or repair.  These cars have 400bhp. I’ve started the auction at scrap value. The engine is running nicely, I’ve just bought a new battery to get it started as the old battery would not recharge. The front bumper and grille is now back on, some of the pictures were taken before this.

The car has covered 157298 miles and there is a A4 binder with a lot of receipts for work carried out to the engine and gearbox etc in the past. It has been off the road for a few years now.  I was hoping to get it back on the road but upon removing the side skirts and revealing the rust it is not to be.

Everything is there with the car, side skirts etc.  It is best for spares: engine, supercharger, gearbox, brakes, suspension, exhaust, interior, it has sportier rear exhaust silencers that were added in the past. The reason for spares is due to the very extensive rust in the bottom of the rear arches, outer sills, inner sills and parts of the floor. The brake pipe has corroded through so there are no brakes.  So the car will need collecting on a trailer with wheel dollies to turn it around. I have a pair of outer sills from eBay which can come with the car if wanted.  There are also a pair of part worn rear tyres that can also be included if wanted as well. The front tyres have covered very little mileage before car was laid up.  I hope the car can be used to keep another on the road as they are amazing fun to drive!  You are welcome to hear it running before the auction ends.
