This is a 1950s Dimplex atomic design floor standing heater, featuring a distinctive beige and black colour scheme.This model is known as the Dimplex IRF 1000.It utilizes a radiant bar heating element behind a protective cage.It is often repurposed today as a unique decorative floor lamp due to its mid-century look.
