1862 Cr.54 $10 Arkansas Treasury Warrant from Little Rock, Arkansas.
This note grades a nice Very Fine with minor ink burn and hinges on the reverse.
This note features a portrait of Samuel Adams at the center surrounded by books and an ink well (This is not "the" Samuel Adams, but rather a gentleman who served as a state senator, interim governor, and state treasurer of Arkansas. He passed away in 1850).
In the left panel is a Vignette of cotton picking between "TEN" panels. A small dog bisects the date-line and the signature.
It measures ~ 7" x 3".
