The Casio AZ-1 MIDI Controller Keytar is a digital keyboard controller with 37 keys, perfect for creating music with its pitch and modulation wheels.
While the body is in great shape with no cracks or dents, I had a gentlemen with extensive knowledge of this instrument, look it over and he told me there is some flaws. This is the exact analysis he gave me…
“The bottom two octaves of white keys either don’t produce note data or only produce note data pressed with a lot of force. The black keys worked much better. Once I got above the 2nd octave I stopped testing. While there is sometimes a keyboard controller chip failure on these that can cause one or two keys to malfunction this definitely seems to be more like a liquid spill or some other accidental damage that is causing the issue. It’s too bad, otherwise the unit seemed to be in great shape.”
End quote.
Not extremely familiar with this particular instrument so I’m selling Keytar for parts and/or not working.
