SAUER'S FLAVORING EXTRACTS
country/general store counter-top oak-wood display case.
THE CASE HAS BEEN GIVEN A CURSORY DUSTING & CLEANING,
BUT DUE TO THE PRESENCE OF THE DECALS, IT HAS NOT BEEN SANITIZED WITH CHEMICALS.
OVERALL, THE CASE MEASURES:
25½ inches tall
by

HAS THREE (3) SHELVES:
The first shelf is the bottom of the case,
The second shelf is about 8 inches above the bottom shelf
&
The third shelf is about 19 inches above the bottom shelf.
The distance between the bottom & the second shelf is about 8 inches.
The distance between the second shelf & the third shelf is about 11 inches.
The distance between the third shelf & the top is about 6 inches.

Origin/History: Found in an estate sale in Seattle about thirty (30) years ago. Since then, it has been used to store music CDs
Function/Use: Used for display of Sauer's products in a general store. The case is a counter-top model, but could be to any wall, if the buyer wishes so.
Structure/Composition: The case is made of Oak-wood panels of about ½ of an inch thick. The case door is secured with a brass hook latch & has two (2) four-screwed brass hinges. Interior has two (2) shelves, plus the bottom of the case (Total of three (3) interior shelves).
Usage/Wear-and-Tear: In excellent condition. No missing parts or major damage. Sauer's decal on the inner surface of the front door is not scratched or scuffed & the colors have NOT faded & are are still bright. Glass panel front is not cracked, chipped or broken. Wooden frame around glass of the door is NOT split, cracked or damaged. The decal on the right-side of the case is intact & complete, but there is some "crazing" from the Oak wooden grain underneath. The decal on the left-side of the case is missing & an outline of where it was can be seen. The wood of the top panel is cracked near back-side (but still tight) & the three (3) nails coming in from the right-side have chipped off triangular pieces. No other cracks or damage to any other wood panels or shelves. All flaws will be either written about in this condition section of the listing OR visible in the photos. Examine ALL of the photos carefully, using the "SUPERSIZE" feature for each. Photos constitute part of the overall description.
Year Made/Approximate Age: Undated.
Dimensions/Volume/Weight: About 25½ inches tall by 11½ inches wide by 7½ inches deep.
Mark(s): Marked with decals for "SAUER'S FLAVORING EXTRACTS" on the glass front door & another the right-side wooden panel. The door bears a decal of the full-color company logo in gold, red & green. The long/tall side decal on the right-side states "THE BEST AT ANY PRICE"; with the prices of 10¢ (Top) & 25¢ (Bottom) & an image of the headquarters/factory ("OUR HOME" & "RICHMOND, VA"). The left-side HAD the identical side decal, but it has been amateurishly-removed.
