In this listing we are proud to present this excellent and highly collectible vintage timepiece: Breitling Navitimer 806 Twin Jet Chronograph from 1966 in unpolished condition.  This particular watch has all original dial, hands, case and movement.  Breitling Navitimer 806 was the first Breitling watch to feature ‘reverse panda’ dial which adorns millions of the brand’s Navitimer watches even till the current time.  This particular example was made 2 years after the 806 Twin Jet was introduced in 1964 and it carries the original first edition Twin Jet dial with smaller subdials.  Inside the watch the legendary caliber Venus 178 serves as the timekeeper.  With the introduction of Breitling 806 Twin Jet, the brand’s Navitimer was revolutionized to be even more functionally friendly for pilots in the 1960s with the easier to grip toothed rotating bezel and easier to ready reverse panda dial.  

Condition-wise this watch is running and all of the chronograph functions are working.  We have not tested it for timekeeping or performed any service on it.  Being that it’s a vintage watch we do not offer any sort of functional guarantee for it.  Buyer has the final responsibility and decision for the upkeeping and maintenance for this watch.  Cosmetically this watch is in ORIGINAL UNPOLISHED CONDITION with all original parts including the Dial, Hands, Case and Movement.  There are minor scratches on the case and more significant scratches on the caseback.  There are a few small dings near the caseback opening at 9 o’clock.  Original hesalite/acrylic crystal has surface scratches as well.  The 100% original reverse panda dial still has all of its original lume on markers and hands and the dial itself is in excellent shape.  No box or paperwork is included, the leather strap and SS buckle are replacements.  Diameter is 41mm, guaranteed 100% authentic and original (except for aftermarket strap and buckle).
