Space Age Eyeball lamp inspired by the iconic 1968 Gino Sarfatti / Arteluce Table Lamp.

Unlike the original Sarfatti lamp and other "inspired-by" versions, this one can be rotated and tightened into position.

Under the metal top of the base is embossed (see photos), "S-A" over "NYC", the "49" over "18" and "2".

Presumably a lighting company in New York City.

Used but overall very good condition, inspect photos:

Chrome metal parts:

No flakes but short surface scratches (inspect photos) and most noticeable are the "ears being the most likely parts to contact surroundings items:

scratches to one chrome "ear" and pockmark like dings to the other (inspect photos).

Interior eyeball white spray paint is spotted.

"Smoked quartz"acrylic parts:

No scuffing but one curved light 3" scratch to inside of one "leg"; and small nick to edge of square acrylic base plate.

Electrical components: All in original working condition. Porcelain socket.

Levitron USA thumb switch. Original wiring, clear gold tone cord is approx 80 inches long with brassplug, ungrounded.

Base sits on four plastic feet (lifts bae approximately 1/16 off table). Inspect photo.
