Vintage original 1971 horror film press still photograph set (4) from the cult exploitation film later released as Blood of Ghastly Horror.

These black-and-white studio publicity photographs are marked MSB-TV with individual numbering, referencing the film’s original working title “Man with the Synthetic Brain.” The film was later retitled Blood of Ghastly Horror, making these stills an interesting transitional piece of production history.

This set comes directly from the estate of producer Samuel M. Sherman, co-founder of Independent-International Pictures and a key figure in American exploitation and drive-in cinema.

Included with the stills:

• Original production paper bag labeled “Man With The Synthetic Brain – 4 Stills”
• Later notation referencing “Blood of Ghastly Horror”
• Red inventory number #8 on the bag
• Samuel M. Sherman business card from Signature Films

The labeled bag strongly suggests these were part of the film’s publicity materials during the period when the title was being changed.

The stills feature dramatic scenes including character confrontations, close-ups, and action moments typical of early 1970s horror and exploitation cinema.
