Beautiful pair of antique English brass candlestick holders, hand crafted in England and dating to the late 19th century. Each candlestick features an elegant, twisted spiral / barley twist column with a round stepped base and flared candle cup.

The pair has a wonderful, aged brass patina and a substantial feel, weighing approximately 3 lbs 2 oz total. Each candlestick measures approximately 10.75” tall with a 4.75” diameter base. The barley twist design gives them a classic Old World look that works beautifully with English country, Victorian, traditional, Gothic Revival, mantel, dining table, or collected antique brass décor.

These would make a lovely accent for a mantel, dining table centerpiece, bookshelf, holiday display, altar setting, or antique brass collection.

Condition - 

Excellent antique condition with attractive aged brass patina, light surface wear, and normal signs of age and use. There is some oxidation/verdigris visible inside the candle cups and on the underside, consistent with antique brass pieces. One base has felt on the underside and the other does not.
