This is a Sony cassette player. As it has been stored at home, there are some minor scuffs or marks on the surface. To ensure proper cassette playback, the following maintenance has been performed:
・Replaced with a high-quality rubber belt
・Cleaned the head and pinch roller
・Applied contact cleaner to electrical contacts
・Cleaned the circuit board
・Cleaned the gears and internal components
Following this maintenance, I verified that all basic functions—playback, fast-forward, and rewind—work correctly using both a gum-type rechargeable battery and the standard dry-cell battery case. There is no significant wow or flutter, and the unit should play music normally.
Please note that separate dry-cell batteries are required for operation.
