Clever pedal this, and sounds great (put simply it's a eq pedal that emulates el34 tubes - but there's more to it). Basically a Les Luis without the clipping and a boost section, full volume and minimum tone is fully transparent and unity. Turn up the tone and add sparkle and brightness - there's a lot on tap. Hit the boost and you get a lot more volume - the third knob controls how much - and tasty and tasteful grit as you get to the top end. Meant to drive an amp, but pretty great sounding whatever your set up, this is a classy design that just sounds expensive. And makes your amp sound expensive too! Hand soldered (with lead) onto a pcb with quality knobs and solid, true bypass footswitches. Needs a standard 9v centre negative power supply (sorry, no room for a battery). Does not contain an EL34 valve amplifier vacuum tube. Return it if not satisfied, or if it ever needs repairs - that's a lifetime guarantee, you don't get many of them on here. Thanks to Sandy for the explanation! See Rift's own video (rift el34 - what is it?) for more.
