Season 1 Sarah is a streetwise outsider, currently on the run from a bad relationship and painfully separated from her own daughter. When an eerily lookalike stranger commits a shocking suicide right in front of her, Sarah sees a potential solution to all her problems by assuming the dead woman’s identity and clearing out her bank account. But instead, she stumbles headlong into a kaleidoscopic thriller mystery, and soon uncovers an earth-shattering secret: she is a clone. As Sarah searches for answers, she soon learns there are more like her out there, genetically identical individuals, nurtured in wildly different circumstances. And someone is trying to kill them off, one by one. Special Features Send In the Clones (HD, 16 minutes): From inspiration to development to production, this concise behind-the-scenes featurette offers up a lot of insightful information on the story, characters, cast and ongoing mysteries. Orphan Black on The Nerdist (HD, 7 minutes): In this early episode of The Nerdist (which recently wrapped its first season on BBC America), host Chris Hardwick and sidekicks Jonah Ray and Matt Mira welcome Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany to the show and discuss the series, the trials and tribulations of clones, and Maslany's improv background. From there, Mira visits Jordan Gavaris (Felix) on set, and further amusement ensues. Insiders (HD, 5 minutes): Four clip-heavy "Orphan Black Insider" featurettes, including "Sarah," "Felix," "Beth" and "Three Clones, One Frame," a look at a scene in which Maslany plays three different clones in a single room. Season 2 Season two of Orphan Black hits the ground running with Sarah (Tatiana Maslany, Picture Day, Parks and Recreation) in a desperate race to find her missing daughter Kira (Skyler Wexler, Carrie). Her scorched earth tactics spark a war with pro-clone, Rachel (Maslany), dividing and imperiling all the clones. As Sarah discovers more about her past, mysterious newcomers appear, but can they be trusted? Special Features The Cloneversation with Wil Wheaton (Disc 1, HD, 42 minutes): Self-amusing host Wil Wheaton does his best Chris Hardwick impersonation... to mixed, over-enunciated and frankly irritating results. Wheaton aside, the guests in this season preview are the real draw and the real delight. Tatiana Maslany (Sarah), Jordan Gavaris (Felix), Dylan Bruce (Paul) and Evelyne Brochu (Delphine) stop by, as do "Clone Club Members" Patton Oswalt and Orlando Jones, sharing their favourite bits from Season One and teasing what's to come in Season Two. Behind the Scenes (Disc 2, HD, 38 minutes): Four featurettes take fans on a fairly length behind the scenes tour of the series' second season, with one even offering a more in-depth look at the making of a specific episode (201). Of particular note are the easy-to-follow breakdowns of several complex shots in which multiple clones appear. Segments include "Script to Screen," "Hair & Makeup," "The 2-Clone Smackdown" and "The 4-Clone Dance Party." Deleted Scenes (Disc 2, HD, 6 minutes): Co-creators Graeme Manson and John Fawcett introduce and comment on three deleted scenes featuring Alison and Donnie that were cut from the season finale. Clone Club Insiders (HD, 9 minutes): Seven rapidfire cast, character and crew featurettes, among them "Sarah," "Cosima," "Alison," "Felix," "Graeme & John," "The Real Cosima" and "Tatiana's Double." Season 3 Starring two-time Critics' Choice Award-winner Tatiana Maslany, Orphan Black returns with a pulse-racing third season. After the shocking discovery of Project Castor, Sarah and her sisters are left to battle the top-secret military project producing these lethal male clones. At the same time, Sarah tries to track down her missing twin Helena and an ailing Cosima searches for the key to the synthetic sequences that may keep them all alive. But how far are they willing to go to protect each other and their families… and who can they really trust? DISSECTING THE SCENES The cast and crew of Orphan Black pull back the curtain to reveal the magic of creating Season Three’s four-clone scenes THE LOOK OF ORPHAN BLACK Cinematographer Aaron Morton and director John Fawcett describe how they devised the distinctive look of Orphan Black and how it’s developed over the last three seasons. TEAM HENDRIX: ROCKIN’ THE SUBURBS Tatiana Maslany and Kristian Bruun dig into the strange appeal of the annual Alison/Donnie episodes. Season 4 Emmy-nominated Tatiana Maslany returns for the exhilarating fourth season of Orphan Black. With the threat of the Castor clones no longer plaguing them, the sisterhood’s future looks bright. That is, until the past comes crashing back into their lives with the introduction of Neolution – the organization that has been pulling the strings all along. Forced to emerge from her Icelandic safe house, Sarah is lead down a dangerous path back to the clone that started it all: Beth Childs. As Sarah begins to crack under the overwhelming pressure of keeping her family safe, the sisters are pushed in disparate directions. But in order to survive, they will need to band together like never before, or be torn apart forever. Special Features Back to the Beginning (1080p; 10:36) documents the efforts to recreate the look of the show's first season for the long arc featuring Beth. Body Horror (1080p; 13:13) looks at some of the excellent FX work, specifically with regard to some of the bodies (living and otherwise) in this season. Beth, M.K. and Ira (1080p; 10:57) profiles some of this season's clones. Closer Looks (1080p; 29:47) is a collection of featurettes devoted to each of this season's episodes. Season 5 The Emmy and Critics’ Choice award-winner returns for its final series. Neolution is pushing the boundaries of science beyond what anyone thought possible. But at what cost? The mysterious P T Westmorland is the key to all of it. Seemingly 170 years old, he is on the brink of bringing his project to its sinister conclusion. For Sarah and her sisters, this is the start of a deadly endgame that will have extreme consequences – not just for them, but for the future of the entire human race. Can they finally expose the terrifying secrets at the heart of this corrupt corporation? Special Features Island of the Lost Souls (1080p; 6:28) has some good interviews concerning this season's mysterious locale, which is compared perhaps unwisely to Colonel Kurtz in Apocalypse Now. The Epic Clone Shot (1080p; 9:30) is a really fun and interesting piece which documents some of the technical challenges the series faces when it gets Tatiana Maslany on screen simultaneously as more than one character. Clone Centric (1080p; 17:50) has more good interviews, with an emphasis on the season's attempt to have a "featured clone" in each episode this season. The Beginning of the End (1080p; 16:30) kind of double plays on the word "end", since there's a focus on the death of at least one central character (so this obviously has spoiler potential). Out of the Black (1080p; 20:04) is another elegy of sorts, focusing on what the end of the series means to the cast and crew. Closer Looks (1080p; 31:52) feature brief but enjoyable EPKs devoted to each episode. Audio: DTS-HD Master Audio: English 5.1
