Stunning Limited Edition Rainbow Full Metal Square with New MIP-LCD
For sale is a brand new, unworn Casio G-SHOCK GMW-BZ5000RC-1JR Full Metal Square Rainbow LE, supplied as a complete Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) full set.
This is one of the most visually distinctive modern G-SHOCK Squares: a full metal evolution of the original DW-5000C form, upgraded with a high-definition MIP LCD, Tough Solar, Multiband 6 Radio-Controlled Atomic Timekeeping, Bluetooth Smartphone Link, and a stainless steel full metal shock-resistant construction.
The standout feature is the rainbow ion-plated centre case, produced using a two-stage IP process with a gold base layer and gradient rainbow finish. Casio also uses rainbow vapor deposition around the glass and gold IP front screws, giving the watch a far more premium and dimensional appearance than a standard full-metal square. This model is manufactured at Yamagata Casio in Japan, the same “mother factory” associated with the original G-SHOCK lineage.
According to Casio 'The look of the rainbow IP colour will vary from watch to watch'. Does that mean each watch is unique? Possibly.... The reader can make up their own mind.
The GMW-BZ5000RC-1 also represents the next generation of full metal G-SHOCK design. Casio describes the structure as being developed using over 40 years of shock-resistance data and AI-assisted generative design, while retaining the essential Square-case identity of the first G-SHOCK.
This example is BNIB, full set, mint and pristine, with factory protection still present. A strong collector-grade example of a highly distinctive 2026 Japanese-market G-SHOCK.
