Tuttle Sterling Silver 62pc Feather Edge Flatware Set for 9 Harry Truman Marks

Presented is a fine quality Tuttle sterling silver 62 piece flatware set. The set is made in the Feather Edge pattern, which as the name suggests has a feathered design around the edges of the handles. The dinner knives have stainless steel blades but in the “New French” shape, while the butter knives or spreaders are solid, all sterling silver. The set serves nine, with six-piece place settings as well as several versatile serving pieces. The set comes with a fitted wooden flatware storage chest, as photo'd. Each piece is stamped with the Tuttle maker's mark, sterling, and the initials for Harry Truman with a “II” beneath for his second term, dating the set to 1949-1953.

This set is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The weighable silver weight for the set, without the knives or carving set due to their stainless blades and weighted handles, is 2158 grams or 76.1 regular ounces.
