Named for the Gold Coast that Prohibition money built. The case is Art Deco geometry, the swelling guilloché numerals pure Jazz Age.

A sequential serial, Nº 69. A steel case at a moment when Franck Muller trades almost exclusively as a precious-metal name on the secondary market. The RELIEF variant, where the silver guilloché field rises into raised Arabic numerals that catch light differently from every angle. The 1300 platform in its largest case configuration in the class.

It reads large on paper, 35 by 59. On the wrist the curved case folds down over the bone and the short lugs disappear, so it wears far more contained than the spec sheet suggests.

Originally delivered through an authorized Franck Muller distributor, which keeps this example eligible for full factory service at Franck Muller’s Watchland facility in Geneva, a meaningful distinction from gray-market examples.

Up close, the mirror-polished case plays against the satin-brushed back, and the caseback engraving stacks block, script, and stylized type the way an old deco marquee did. It holds together.
