This 4 “x 4” heavy piece is superbly executed and maybe bronze. It is old , maybe 1880’s, but in excellent condition and includes a perfect clear glass large insert. New real feather quills with various nibs are included. The top of the piece sports a frog. The piece is in plug and play condition for the affecianato of this genre. However , whether used or just a statement piece it is rather unique to myriad collectors. Inkwells, gothic, Harry Potter genre.

The seller has this in family for 50 years and the owner was an avid collector/dealer. One of favorite pieces.
