For Sale: 1957 Ford Thunderbird Convertible with two tops, a removable hardtop and a soft white convertible top. This T-Bird is in remarkable condition for its age. It has had an older frame off restoration, and it shows very well. The paint is called Starmist Blue and it is very presentable, but it has a few very minor chips mostly around the door edges. The interior is in white and in excellent condition with no rips or tears in the leather. The dash pad is also in excellent condition.
Everything works good on this T-Bird with the exception of the analog clock. The engine is the stock 312 cu. in. V-8 with a 4-Barrel carburetor. It starts right up and runs great. The odometer is only showing 02,891 miles on it, but I was told by the previous owner that the owner before him turned the odometer back to zero after the restoration. I have no way of knowing if that is true or not.
The entire front end was rebuilt by the previous owner, and it has new shocks, tie rods, rebuilt brakes, bushings, etc. This T-Bird is Rust Free! It is as Solid as the day it left the factory. The undercarriage has been undercoated at some point. If you can come and check it out in person, bring a magnet and you'll see how solid it is. No Bondo in this baby. It has manual steering and manual brakes as it was restored to original stock condition. It passed Massachusetts safety inspection with flying colors. The inspector commented on how solid and tight the front end was.
If you have any questions about the car and its history, give me call at nine 7 eight two four nine 7 five 7 one. Thank you for your interest in my classic T-Bird. This car needs nothing at this time. It's a turnkey car, and rides very nicely down any road. It just won a trophy at the last car show I entered it in. It's not perfect, but it is a really nice driver. It gets thumbs up and honks wherever it goes.
