Orange Spider Plant (Chlorophytum orchidastrum) - An Indoor, Bare-Rooted Plant

An evergreen perennial, normally grown as an indoor plant. It has lance-shaped, dark green leaves with pale pinkish-orange stems. Short, almost stemless, spikes of greenish-white, star-shaped flowers appear in the centre of the clump in spring and summer.

You will receive one bare-rooted, 15 - 20 cm tall, healthy plant. However, on some occasions, they will differ in size and shape (please see note).

Once you receive the plant, you will need to plant it in a suitable pot with a general compost mix and water it well so it can grow and flourish.

  • Orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday via Royal Mail’s Second Class service, which typically delivers within 2 to 3 days, including Saturdays; however, we have found that in some cases, it can take up to 5 days.   • While we take every measure to carefully package our healthiest plants, external factors out of our control, such as delivery delays, mishandling during transport, and unfavourable weather conditions, can adversely affect the plant’s condition. If your order does not arrive in satisfactory condition, please contact us, and we will try to resolve this matter for you quickly and fairly.

  • The number and size of leaves and the extent of root development may vary. The pictures provided in the listing are there to convey the general appearance of the plant rather than indicate its size, number of leaves, or root development.

  • We understand how disappointing it can be to receive an order that doesn't meet your expectations.
