Up for sale is a fantastic, original example of the classic Paterson Trident Viewer in its iconic 1970s teal blue finish. This is a brilliant piece of vintage British photographic gear, perfect for anyone sorting through old family archives or enjoying analog film photography.
Condition Details:
Cosmetic Condition: The viewer is in great condition. The plastic body is bright and clean with no cracks, and the lenses are clear.
Packaging: Includes the original red Paterson box and the original instruction booklet (see IMG_20260602_133303.jpg and IMG_20260602_133420.jpg). The box shows some light vintage edge wear but has protected the viewer perfectly over the decades.
Testing & Electrics: Sold as untested. The unit includes a set of original, vintage Ever Ready HP11 batteries (shown in IMG_20260602_133110.jpg) which are no longer functional and show some age-related corrosion. I don't have fresh modern batteries on hand to test the internal light bulb, but it is an incredibly simple mechanism so I cannot imagine any issues.
