Please examine scan(s) of the document(s) to note the condition. I try to list any unusual damage issues, but do not generally note issues that can be seen in the scans - like writing, ink (or other) stains, creases, stamps, dog-ears, faded/yellowed paper, browning, staple holes, etc. The scanner can sometimes show more or less yellowing than the actual document.

Checks often have a "cut-cancellation", which is a stamp which cuts some slits or punches holes into the check.
