early 20th century, dated 1923, Rookwood Art Pottery Pilgrim Moon Canteen Flask Vases, by William Ernst Hentschel, in a black  and  glossy glaze. The 2627 Pilgrim Flask form is pedestal footed with flat round face bodies with scrolled double handles tapering to a flared neck. Rookwood is collectible American Art Pottery from Cincinnati, Ohio.
