KIT IN ASSEMBLY BOX - 1:75 SCALE
French schooner from 1823.
Launched in Toulon on 13 August 1823, the Toulonnaise took part in the Spanish War under the orders of Commander Joursin, stationed in Barcelona, then reached Cadiz, where it contributed to the cannonade of the port facilities. In 1832, in Brest, the ship underwent a complete overhaul: replacement of part of the internal and external belts, the gunwale and the deck planking, as well as the total reconstruction of the deck superstructures.
Our model is based on the graphic survey obtained from a large model of a famous French museum.
Both the high degree of pre-processing of the components and the numerous illustrative plans supplied with the box greatly facilitate the creation, expressly designed for the beginner.
In addition to the usual quality of the materials, the model is characterized by the presence of special strips dyed with "exposed" grain, the programmed combination of which avoids painting the hull, a notoriously difficult operation, particularly for the less experienced.
