Here we have for sale a collectable job lot of 9 Railway Themed Postcards. They are all unposted

The postcards were made by The Locomotive Publishing Co. Ltd. in London (see photo 2). After doing some research we believe these postcards date from the early 20th century. We noticed 5 of the cards say on the back that they need an half penny stamp fixing on them to post, the half penny stamp was used on postcards up to July 1918 when it then went up to a one penny stamp. Please do your own research into the cards

All 9 postcards are unposted but 2 have a little bit of printing on their rear

The 9 postcards in our lot are............

1) 4-6-0 Express Locomotives postcard and a Sharp Bros. Locomotive at Spilsby Station postcard. Both are unposted but have a little bit of printing on their rears, see photos 3 & 4 for front & rear views of both postcards.

2) G.N.R. Single Express Locomotive No.1007 postcard and a Wilberforce Mineral Locomotive No. 23 postcard. Both are unposted, see photos 5 & 6 for front & rear views of both postcards

3) Manchester Express near Northwood postcard and a G.W.R. Two hour Express near Gerrards Cross postcard. Both are unposted, see photos 7 & 8 for front & rear views of both postcards.

4) L&N.W.R. Hospital Train postcard and a G.E.R. Restaurant Car Express postcard. Both are unposted, see photos 9 & 10 for front & rear views of both postcards.
