The Shergold Telstar Standard is a standout guitar, featuring a unique single-cut, T-style body, a matching headstock and pair of pokey Page FilterSonic humbuckers!
The body of the Telstar Standard is constructed from solid poplar, with a traditional single-cut design and unique raised centre piece. Married to the body is a sold maple neck that is topped with a laurel fingerboard set with Mother of Pearl dot inlays. The fingerboard has a modern 16" radius, sure to please the modern guitarist. The matching headstock gives the guitar added cosmetic charm!
Powering the Telstar Standard is a pair of Page Filtersonic Humbuckers, wired through a master volume, master tone and 3-way pickup selector.
Other appointments include a Hipshot style bridge, 6 chrome saddles and closed gear, 6-in-line tuners.

Shergiod Telstar. I am delighted with the appearance and set up of new guitar. The set up was very near perfect, Intonation was spot on. I just gave it a littke more relief to allow a slightlly lower action. to find it fitted with good quality strings was a bonus. I was dsappointed, on plugging in, to find a faulty neck pickup installation but all credit to Giggear in collecting the instrument and returning it within the week. Having now used it during band rehearsal, I am very pleased to say it plays and sounds great. Terrific value for money!

Very good value for money entry level instrument
The box arrived in very good protection with another box inside. The guitar was very well set up , I will set the action slightly lower for my liking . Will be changing the strings . Both pickups are very good , sounds great . Shergold have made a price busting guitar . Thanks Giggear

I t does what it says of the box in every review I have seen. It looks good, it is comfortable to play, the variety of tones is cool (but that is up to the interpretation of your own ears) and the construction is excellent. No flaws and nothing niggling at all. Brilliant for the price, and did I mention how good it looks?
