Sambalpuri Sari : Sambalpuri Saree Is A Traditional Hand Woven Ikat Wherein The Warp And The Weft Are Tie-Dyed Before Weaving. It Is Produced In Boudh District Of Odisha(Eastern India). Sambalpuri Sarees  Are Made From Fabric Woven On A Hand-Loom  And Are Known For Their Incorporation Of Traditional Motifs Like Shankha (Shell), Chakra (Wheel), Phula (Flower), All Of Which Have Deep Symbolism, But The Highpoint Of These Sarees Is The Traditional Craftsmanship Of The The Tie-Dye Art Reflected In Their Intricate Weaves. In This Technique, The Threads Are First Tie-Dyed And Later Woven Into A Fabric, With The Entire Process Taking Many Weeks.

Care Instructions for Silk Items:

1. If there is any smell that you want to remove :-

a. Horizontally plate the saree and dip it in 1/4 th bucket of water with 6 to 7 drops of fabric softener for 10 minutes and then wash it in the plating form with just water.

b. Do not Squeeze or Tumble Dry, just spread and leave it to dry naturally.

2. If you want to wash it properly :-

a. Horizontally plate the saree and dip it in the mild detergent, grip the saree and move it up and down in detergent water with your hands and then wash it in the similar way with just water.

b. Do not Squeeze or Tumble Dry, just spread and leave it to dry naturally.

For Beaded / Embroidered Items :-

1. Wash gently with a mild detergent.
2. Do not squeeze or tumble dry as beads will fall out.
3. Leave it to dry naturally.
