The Saint-Louis "Bubbles" Cobalt Blue Crystal Wine Glass is a signature contemporary piece from Europe's oldest crystal manufacturer, celebrated for its playful structure and masterful color work. Designed by Teleri Ann Jones in 1992, the Bubbles collection features a distinctive stack of geometric crystal spheres on the stem and "bubble" indentations dotting the bowl (parison). Features a mischievous stack of smooth crystal marbles forming the stem. The bowl is textured with small, hand-cut relief circles that mimic rising champagne or wine bubbles. Every piece is mouth-blown and hand-cut at the Saint-Louis workshops in France, using their historic cased-glass technique to fuse the rich cobalt blue overlay with the clear crystal core. Measures approx. 9.5" tall x 3.5" wide. No chips or scratches.
