Charoniidea Charonia Tritonis 26 cm collectors sea shell 376 grams

This is a very beautiful Tritonus collector quality seashell in excellent condition. There is only one flaw on the seashell that I am able to detect and that is a small part of the spire at the tip of the seashell is missing. no more than 4-5mm worth 

Apart from that the seashell is in exquisite condition and now I will try to describe the seashell for you and also please do not hesitate to view the pictures I have taken of the seashell to see how it looks 
Starting at the tip where the spiral is, right through to the tail is a beautiful banded spiral pattern. 
The main canvas colour of the shell or the underlying colour throughout is a beautiful vintage tan cream colour. This spiral pattern which is randomly placed. Colours of brown divided by the ridges of the spiral is gorgeous. These easily placed brown dots which seem to have stretched from the right to the left creating a U shape. These colours look like dark chocolate swirls in white chocolate. Very beautiful, very appealing, lovely looking pattern. 

The perimeter at the tail section of the shell, where it fans out with a tight wrap, is just a beautiful piece of architecture in a shell. Many of these shells have a glossy surface that reflects the light. Whereas this shell does not have a glossy surface. Rather it has a flat matte dull surface which does not want to reflect light. A very beautiful and appealing aspect to this kind of seashell. 
The underside of the seashell like the top side is very beautiful. There is an overlap of shell on the left side of the aperture which is probably almost 10cm long. A very stunning characteristic in the shell. The aperture itself has a minor flare on the right side and the delineation of the aperture has a beautiful ribbed shape. The tooth ribbed pattern on the left side is typically defined by beautiful straight thick black to dark brown lines which resemble eyelashes. On the right side of the aperture are thick faded lines which do not resemble eyelashes but are a darker line than the typical tan canvas colour on the inside of the aperture. Very beautiful appearance, stunning to look at. A beautiful seashell would make a wonderful collectors piece and a beautiful addition into a collection or it would make a simply a standing standalone piece.
