Condition: Used. Very good. Original purple faux-leather textured hardcover with elegant gold embossing on the front board and spine. The binding is clean and tight with straight corners and only minimal trace of shelf wear at the tips. Pages are clean, white, and firmly bound, completely free of stamps, writing, or foxing. Edges of the book block are well-preserved and clean.


Summary: This collection brings together core works of Hazrat Inayat Khan (1882–1927), the renowned Sufi mystic and musician who first introduced Sufi teachings to the Western world. The volume serves as an essential introduction to Sufism and its mystical philosophy. It contains four major spiritual treatises: "The Way of Illumination" (including Sufi Thoughts, Aspects of Sufism, and The Sufi), "The Inner Life", "The Soul: Whence and Whither?", and "The Purpose of Life", complete with an explanatory glossary of spiritual terms.
