A beautiful vintage handmade Oriental runner in the Heriz / Karaja style, featuring a bold sequence of five linked geometric medallions set on a warm terracotta field.

The design is strong and architectural, with angular motifs and tribal elements typical of Northwest Persian village weavings. The contrasting ivory border with stylised motifs frames the runner beautifully, enhancing its decorative appeal.

Hand knotted in fine lamb’s wool on a cotton foundation, this runner is both durable and practical, ideal for hallways, corridors, or long spaces.

Professionally washed and cleaned, the runner is in very good condition with light wear and a good pile throughout.
