Scarce 1943 WW2 No. 19 EFTS RCAF Graduation Banquet Menu. Virden, Manitoba BCATP
A scarce, genuine Second World War period graduation banquet menu produced in honour of the 29th graduating class (Course 82) of No. 19 Elementary Flying Training School, Royal Canadian Air Force, based in Virden, Manitoba. The event took place on 21 July 1943. The menu contains 4 pages (including covers). The centre pages contain the menu, the programme of events and the presentations. The reverse lists the names and ranks of the graduating pilots. Dimensions: 166mm x 128mm (6.5 x 5 inches). Good used condition (a fold in the centre & minor soiling commensurate with age). The copyright watermark in the photos does not appear on the original menu.

Training School (EFTS) was a British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP)
facility based in Virden, Manitoba, Canada, operating from May 1941 to December
1944. It provided primary flight training for Allied pilots using Fairchild
Cornell and de Havilland Tiger Moth aircraft.
