1854 $3 The Fort Wayne & Southern Rail Road Company note from Muncie, Indiana.
This rail road company was incorporated in 1849 and is part of the Norfolk Southern system today.
This attractive note features a Vignette of a train passing over a canal above the title. Ceres sits at the top left and a portrait of Daniel Webster is on the bottom right.
This note grades Choice About Uncirculated with a light mounting spot on the reverse.
It measures ~ 7.25" x 3".
