Genuine volcanic basalt Hag stone; bigger than it looks in pictures! One mid-sized hole on a nicely smooth stone.  Even has a nice little finger grip.   Hand sourced from the Oregon coast.

Basalt is created when underwater volcanos erupt and the lava flow hits the water; cooling immediately. A tiny pebble or grain of sand then settles into the stone; drilling a large, perfectly smooth hole over thousands of years. 

Used for centuries in rituals and folklore, Hag stones hold a lot of power bringing luck, protection from hexes and bad dreams, or even a glimpse into the fae world.
