The Story
Mineralogist Paul Carlson (Chase Cordell) is enjoying a quiet night under the desert stars when a meteor shower takes a deadly turn.
A fragment of a lunar meteorite strikes him, embedding itself deep in his brain. As the full moon rises, the literal "moon rock" triggers a gruesome transformation, turning Paul into a hulking, prehistoric reptilian monster.
While Paul struggles with his sanity, his girlfriend Kathy (Donna Leigh Drake) and the unforgettable anthropology professor Johnny Longbow (Gregorio Sala) race against time to find a cure before the "Moon Beast" claims its next victim. Why Collectors Love This Film

It stands as one of his final professional credits. MST3K Fame: This film gained legendary status after being featured in one of the most beloved episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (Episode 1007).
The "Johnny Longbow" Factor: Features the iconic character Johnny Longbow and his famous (and mysterious) stew recipe.
